Aha, of course.
The first song Ezra ever wrote was when he was 10 or 11 and it was called “Bad Birthday Party”. He says the only lyrics he can remember are the ones I posted. He said, “I think when you’re a kid, that sounds like one of the worst things ever – a bad birthday party.” It was a bad birthday party.
